1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using NusaCarbon's digital MRV platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service description

NusaCarbon provides AI-driven digital Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (dMRV) services for carbon credit projects, including:

• Satellite-based carbon analysis
• NDVI time series and vegetation monitoring
• Eligibility assessment for carbon methodologies
• Automated report generation
• API access for enterprise users

3. User accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account types

• Free tier: Pre-assessment with limited features
• Auto Verification Bundle: Full analysis with automated reports
• Partner Network: Third-party verification services
• Enterprise API: Programmatic access with custom limits

4. Data accuracy and limitations

4.1 Pre-assessment disclaimer

Free tier pre-assessments are estimates based on satellite data and literature values. They are NOT suitable for carbon credit issuance without third-party verification.

4.2 Data sources

Our platform uses data from NASA POWER, Copernicus, Google Earth Engine, NOAA, SoilGrids and other sources. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy due to satellite limitations, cloud cover and data latency.

4.3 Methodology compliance

While we support SRN and Verra methodologies, final compliance verification must be performed by accredited third-party auditors.

5. Payment and billing

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually
• Refunds are provided within 14 days of purchase
• API usage beyond limits incurs additional charges
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Platform ownership

NusaCarbon retains all rights to the platform, algorithms and software. You may not reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute our technology.

6.2 Your data

You retain ownership of your project data. We have a license to use it to provide services and improve our platform.

7. Prohibited uses

You may not use NusaCarbon to:

• Submit fraudulent or misleading carbon credit claims
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Overload or disrupt our systems (DDoS, scraping)
• Resell our services without authorization

8. Limitation of liability

NusaCarbon is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Inaccurate carbon estimates or rejected credits
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Third-party verification outcomes
• Financial losses from using our platform

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, you retain access to your exported data.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Disputes will be resolved in Indonesian courts.
