Five methodologies are implemented today. This page documents what each one covers, the inputs it accepts, the equation it runs, the uncertainty bands it returns, and the field measurements needed to move a project from satellite pre-assessment to verification-ready.
Pre-assessments run on the platform today. Credit issuance always needs field validation and an accredited verification body. We do not claim registry acceptance; we format reports to match registry documentation requirements.

Every pre-assessment carries a confidence interval. For forest biomass derived from canopy height alone, typical bounds are ±25 to ±40 percent. For soil carbon from SoilGrids, ±30 to ±50 percent. For tidal wetlands using literature defaults, up to ±50 percent.
Those bounds shrink with field measurements. Permanent sample plots for forest biomass. Soil cores per depth horizon. Sediment cores with bulk density per stratum for blue carbon. Tidal eligibility confirmed in person. Each ground input replaces a satellite proxy and tightens the credit estimate.
That is the bridge to the partner network. Verification partners run the field campaigns, regional research groups validate the allometrics, and an accredited VVB closes the loop. The platform tracks every input by provenance: satellite, field, standard default, or partner-supplied.
