Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Free and Paid tiers?

Free Tier: Pre-assessment with basic carbon estimates. Good for initial feasibility checks.

Auto Verification Bundle ($299): Full analysis with detailed reports, NDVI time series, soil data, and automated PDF generation. Suitable for project documentation.

Partner Network ($1,499): Includes third-party verification by accredited auditors for carbon credit issuance.

Can I use NusaCarbon for carbon credit issuance?

NusaCarbon provides digital MRV tools to accelerate project assessment. For carbon credit issuance (Verra, Gold Standard, SRN), you need third-party verification by accredited auditors. Our Partner Network tier connects you with verified auditors.

What methodologies do you support?

We support Verra (VM0010, VM0007, VM0015, VM0033) and Indonesia SRN methodologies for forest, mangrove, peatland, and agriculture projects.

How accurate are the carbon estimates?

Free tier uses Tier 1 IPCC defaults (±30-50% uncertainty). Paid tiers use satellite-derived biomass with higher accuracy (±20-30%). Final verification by auditors provides the highest accuracy (±10-15%).

What data sources do you use?

We integrate 6 real-time sources: Google Earth Engine (MODIS NDVI, OpenLandMap Soil), NASA POWER (weather/climate), NOAA ERDDAP (ocean data), NASA EONET (fire events), and Mapbox (map screenshots). All sources are cited in the provenance JSON.

Can I export my data?

Yes! You can export GeoJSON (polygon data), PDF reports (analysis summary), and Provenance JSON (data source metadata with cryptographic hashes).

Do you offer API access?

Yes! Enterprise API access is available with custom rate limits. See our API Documentation or contact hello@nusacarbon.com for pricing.
